My thoughts on our emerging global culture. Inspired by: Mythologist Joseph Campbell. In “The Power of Myth,” and many other works and talks, he expressed our need for New Myths for the 21st Century. He suggested the iconic photo of Earth in space, “The Blue Marble,” taken by Apollo 17 in 1972. Another iconic photo — and the first view of Earth rising over the Moon — was taken by Apollo 8, in 1968. This was the first image ever taken by humans of the whole Earth. And the book: “Reality Isn’t What It Used To Be: Theatrical Politics, Ready-To-Wear Religion, Global Myths, Primitive Chic, and Other Wonders of the Postmodern World.” By Walter Truett Anderson He shows how our postmodern world presents the friction of belief systems — which define the primary philosophical divisions of our time. Published in 1990 by Harper SanFrancisco. And the classic book: “Understanding Media: The Extensions of Man” By Marshall McLuhan He elucidates how our technology alters our senses. He originated the expressions, “The Medium is the Message” and “The Global Village.” And also: “Promethea,” by Alan Moore. Presents the Apocalypse as a Revelation of our divine nature. The comic book series is available as graphic novels. MUSIC by: Band: Love and Rockets Album: “Lift” Song: “Lift – Malibu Mix” Slightly edited. (p and copyright 1998, Red Ant, LLC.) Cosmology.com This video details the scientific evidence proving that microbial life lived on Mars from 4 billion to at least 1 million years ago. A documentary film by Rhawn Joseph, Ph.D. This film is the Third chapter (Part 3), from the 55 minute film God & The Origin of Life. This video and the associated chapters, are founded on considerable scientific evidence and are not based on religion or conceptions of god. Some viewers leap to irrational conclusions about religion or god based on the title. Each chapter may be viewed, on youtube, in any order. 1: God & the Origin of Life: The Myth of the Organic Soup. /watch?v=ByUod2VmBQY 2: Meteors & the Origins of Life /watch?v=eW9nMJR4wWk 3: Life on Mars /watch?v=Wj4Q1hPRoDs 4: Fossils & Life Found on the Moon /watch?v=M0JWiZK5bUI 5: Origins: Life is Everywhere. Life in Extreme Environments /watch?v=sjsnI3v5WM8 The entire video may be viewed at BrainMind.com The purpose of these 5 chapters and this film is to create a scientific revolution and paradigm shift in scientific thinking and in our understanding of life on earth and in the universe. In order to protect the status quo, the “scientific establishment” typically falsely classifies all arguments and evidence challenging their beliefs, as an either/or choice between: science vs religion. There is a 3rd choice, represented by these videos, are based on 100% pure science and have nothing to do with religion or intelligent design. The attack against religion is a “straw dog

1) www.pbs.org Please visit and support the above listed website link I have provided for the World and all of the viewers of this incredibly well documented program to further benefit themselves and their intellectual capabilities. Thank to all who watch and also to teh very well educated people of the “NOVA – PBS” network/broadcasting system. This program covers the actual beginning of our Universe and the science that details it all. It is filled with beautiful pictures as well as a ton of very vital information that is good for all of humanity to learn and know about. Mr. Neil degraysse Tyson hosts this program and he is very intellectual as well as a great source for giving out all of this great information about the mysteries of outer space. Science is the process of reasoning the theories of “down” and “back” from our directly observable effects and short as well as long lasting events to the constantly growing indirectly observable events and the ever more distant and nearly inaccessible past events across the cosmos. If we were able to know the details of the very beginning of our universe alone, then we could reason forward and therefore derive the past events and the most recent events in our cosmic neighborhood and further our understanding of the actual facts that truly foretell the formation of the universe. Please view this with an open mind and I urge all of you to comment if you have any questions that pertain to the contents covered within this very

Satellites can reveal how many fields have been planted and how a crop is growing, providing a way to predict how much of a give commodity will be available at harvest. Governments and aid agencies around the world use this information to help them make informed decisions about food prices and trade and the possible need for aid long before harvest. The organizations that use NASA data include the United States Department of Agricultures Foreign Agricultural Service and usaid’s Famine Early Warning System Network.

In the broadest sense, the term impact crater can be applied to any depression, natural or manmade, resulting from the high velocity impact of a projectile with larger body. In most common usage, the term is used for the approximately circular depression in the surface of a planet, moon or other solid body in the Solar System, formed by the hyper-velocity impact of a smaller body with the surface. This is in contrast to the pit crater which results from an internal collapse. Impact craters typically have raised rims, and they range from small, simple, bowl-shaped depressions to large, complex, multi-ringed impact basins. Meteor Crater is perhaps the best-known example of a small impact crater on the Earth. Impact craters provide the dominant landforms on many solid Solar System objects including the Moon, Mercury, Callisto, Ganymede and most small moons and asteroids. On other planets and moons that experience more-active surface geological processes, such as Earth, Venus, Mars, Europa, Io and Titan, visible impact craters are less common because they become eroded, buried or transformed by tectonics over time. Where such processes have destroyed most of the original crater topography, the terms impact structure or astrobleme are more commonly used. In early literature, before the significance of impact cratering was widely recognised, the terms cryptoexplosion or cryptovolcanic structure were often used to describe what are now recognised as impact-related features on

Please note that this video wasn’t intended to to compare planet/sun size but just a visual representation of the solar system where planets textures are visible for the inner and outer planets. Part 2 of this Video is now also available. I hope you enjoy it
