I have a test in a few days and I cant figure out the answer to these ?s. Please help me or atleast guide me to the answer. I need to understand these:
15) which planet has an orbit eccentricity most like the orbital eccentricity of the moon? (1)earth (2)saturn (3)mars (4)mercury
18)Earth’s orbital velocity is slowest on July 5 because
(1) the moon is closest to earth on Jul. 5 (2) Earths distance from the sun is greastest on jul. 5
(3)earth, the moon and the sun are in a straight line on jul 5
(4)the highest northern hemisphere temperatures occure about july 5 . I think its (2)?
21) in our solar system, the largest planet are alo (1) least dense (2) closest to sun (3)move fastest in orbits (4)have warmest surface temperatures.

15.) is four because mercury has the most circular orbit. the moon orbits the earth in a circle the rest of the planets have elliptical orbits (meaning oval)
18.) yeah, definitely two
21.) i’d say it’s one. the further away from the sun the planet is the less dense it will be. definitely not two. not three because the closer the planet orbits the sun the faster it goes and the big ones are in the middle. and not four because jupiter’s mean surface temp is -23 degrees C.
